Well according to 3dmark05 it doesnt say SSE3 and it says my hard drive connection is IDE?? but how do i tell if i have SSE3 instructions?

Try CPU-Z. Also, what core is your 3500+?

You might also want to check and see if there is an update for 3dmark05. If the hardware is newer than the test it's just guessing, anyway.

The Clawhammer cores do not have SSE3 instructions.

The Venice & San Diego are the only single core A64 chips with SSE3

I have the venice core, i have the latest 3dmark05. i will try cpu-z and see. many thanks.
