If your gonna spend that much for good parts, then dont kill it by buying some cheap ram.

    Well what about:
    OCZ GOLD EL PC3200 1GB 2X512MB DDR400 CL2-2-2-5 184PIN DIMM DUAL CHANNEL MEMORY KIT W/ RAMSINK

I wanna stay on the OCZ department so let's go off of that.

What is this system used for? Cause if its gaming...I dont see the need for a dual core proc. I've done quite a bit of research in the last 3 weeks on how these things are gonna do in a machines thats built just for gaming, and unless you plan on playing 2 games at the same time, why not go for a single core?

You should up the psu 450W is a little low.

Well, I dont know, this machine will be for gaming. Maybe try a single core but a more powerfull one?

    Perfect :)

Also I noticed you're only getting one hard drive.

You might want to consider getting a WD Raptor, or two since you're spending so much.

Could any one span out the difference between dual core and single core in gaming perspective?

I will be looking at the:

    AMD Athlon 64 4000+ Processor S939 San Diego 2.4GHZ 1MB L2 Cache 90NM Retail Box

    OR

    1 x AMD ATHLON 64 X2 4400+ DUAL CORE PROCESSOR S939 TOLEDO 2.2GHZ 1MBX2 90NM RETAIL BOX

Heres a typical gaming session for me:
    MSN
    AIM
    Teamspeak
    Clan Website
    BF2
All running at the same time going through all the programs.

*EDIT* I can hardly fill up my current 40 gig, I wouldnt need anymore then 80 gigs.

Stevenson the WD Raptor is a 74 gb hard drive (10,000 RPM), it's a FASTER hd, not a larger one.

And also, at this time there really is no true benefit to dual core and gaming, so save your money and go for a 4000+
