I need to find a program that will initiate a dial-up connection and maintain it up if DSL/cable goes down. This needs to be a automaticly run application. My company is a cafeteria chain of 64 stores and were putting in a new Point Of Sale application that sends all sales info ect across our VPN remotely and into our corperate server to be sent to our AS400 dbase. We need some redundancy incase the highspeed connection goes down so that we can still get the information we need in real time. This shouldnt be a very big program since all I need to do is detect the dropped connection, monitor it for something like 10-20 mins to see if it reconnects, then dial out to our corperate server and maintain an open 56k connection until DSL comes back up.

Anyone have any ideas?

Well there is an option in the Internet Explorer settings that says "Dial whenever a connection is not present". I'm guessing it'll start up the dial up connection when the lan drops.
