My roomate needs more ram for his computer, so I figured I'd just tell him to get something similar to what he has in there now. From the info I got off the ram stick I was able to get to here http://www.samsung.com/Products/Semiconductor/common/partnumbersearch.aspx?partnum=mr16r0824bn1&cd1=ck8&x=9&y=8 I was just wondering exactly how to read all the technical info. I'm familiar with the usual SDR and DDR and speeds, but I'm not sure what to tell him cause I don't really know what kind it is. Suggestions are appreciated.

According to that part number, that RAM is RAMBUS. RAMBUS was the noise for about a year before people realized it wasn't worth the high price-tag that accompanied it.

I've got some leftover from an old computer, but at the price th is stuff goes for even today...Its not worth buying.

    Just my 2 cents.
