New mobo, question about flash...

edited August 2005 in Hardware
I will be building my new system soon.

I have another computer already and can use it to download anything offline. When I get my mobo should I flash the BIOS first thing when I get it...a walk through would be nice of what I should do first thing and such, thanks in advance...

If you're getting a new mobo it should already have the latest Bios on it. What motherboard & components are you planning to use?

i was surprised when i got my A8N Delux, it recignized my 4200+ instantly, no update required, that was about a month ago so i assume it will be able to work out of the box

I doubt your going to have anything to worry about. Just got a A8N board myself and had 0 problems.
