It seems that stats.zerothelement.com is down.
He seems to be located in NC, so I hope he weathers the storm out.

Good luck to you, dyyryath.

Yeah, but I understand why zeroelements may be down.

Now I'm left with only statsman's site.

Anbody know of any other stats sites?

    ( I wish EOC's stats site were back up :( )

I can't access the zerothelement site either. That was my 'backup' to EOC.
BDR, it is nice to see someone else that checks in every moring before work!

    Here's statsman's site.

Umm.. I may get blasted for asking.. but has anyone given any thought to setting up our own stats page?
Maybe it can just show stats for the team?

I'll look into it when I get time, but at the moment I still don't know how to actually pull the info of specific places on other pages (everything else is easy).

I didn't manage to reverse engineer the sig generator GK sent me because it was 99% Javascript, which isn't my thing :(

I'm sure writing a perl script to grab the data from stanford's server wouldn't be very difficult. Then, either write it to a text file, or stick it in a DB--DB would probably be better. Use PHP to read the DB and generate the graphs. If someone else doesn't do it, maybe I'll see what I can whip up (if and as time permits) in the next few days.

That would be cool, NS and a2jfreak :)

Can it look and operate something like the EOC page?
(without stepping on EOC's toes, of course)

EOC's is very functional. Only improvement would be to have EOC's style for users' overall rank also instead of just by team.

I think that's just a result of the September 16 spike in points. It makes the overall scale of the graph huge so you don't notice our steady rise as much.

    Absolutely! :)

Yeah, that spike just skewed the scale. We're still climbing :) It'll just be a month until the scale goes back to normal.

Well, Jason's still having some problems with EOC's stats; they are down again. I read over there that he is having some kind of DNS trouble, plus he's sick as a dog too.:(

    http://www.statsman.info/folding2stats/93.html is your link.

Can I ask you guys update your links from statsman.ww-testsites.co.uk to the new www.statsman.info one please?

It's just if I need to move the stuff the statsman.info link will be repointed whereas the test site on may not :D

The initial problems with the DNS settings not sticking were resolved (Enom glitch, lasted a few hours) and it should be stable now. Randy & I are working on reducing the FTP load it takes, so we can offer other stats as well and improve the update frequency to match Stanford's once again :D

Thank you for the update, WW. I just want you to know how grateful we all are for you to step in and help Randy get his stats back up and running.:respect:

I've bookmarked the new link on my rigs.:D

No problem :D Glad I could help him out a bit ;)

The nice thing is that this way we get to work together and perhaps improve on it even more for FAH. I like the EOC stats very much as well, and one day perhaps we'll have something nice on the folding community site as well, but for now hopefully it will work well.

The compressed FTP transfer we're working at will be tested this weekend by me, if it works well Randy will do a test as well. Assuming the testing goes well, more and more frequent stats should be possible :D
