Cannot access my encrypted files after reformat

I need serious help I cannot access my files that I encrypted before I had to reformat after a serious problem that happened after I installed new ram.

I have tried different programs and the simple uncheck encrypt files in the advanced tab and it told me :access denied:

    Did you ever export your keys prior to the reinstall or set up a recovery agent? Additionally, did you ever grant shared permission to access the files in question? If not, then you are SOL...:(
