Hey..I'm lookin for a cad program that has some good functionality that can do 3-d views and design furniture that has either like a 2 week trial or is completely free. If it only has i trial, thats fine as long as its pretty much fully functional..cause I'm only gonna need it for a few days. (gonna cad a desk that im gonnna build in woodshop to replace my pos one that im using now.)

Help is appreciated

It's not free, but SketchUp is what I use for my projects. It is easy to learn and use. I'm do woodworking for a living, so I needed a program that lets me get an idea on paper quickly, but it must look professional enought to show the client. SketchUp lets me do this. http://www.sketchup.com

You can use qcad if you're using Linux which is free and not too big either.

Yeah, I found mine in a similar way. I'm glad you like it. I hope your desk turns out the way you want it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I have about 20 yrs experience in woodworking.

free cad is oxymoronish...File sharing/torrent maybe your answer, but I don't condone as the programmers for cad software need to eat. :bawling:
