when I start a game,it crashes to desktop

When i start a game it crashes to desktop as soon as it reach the main page of it..when I had a newer version of driver it wasn't like that but was very sluggish at the game main page but no crash..soon after i degraded it,it became smooth but it crash..anyone knows the cause of it and can i get it solved?

    Erm... what game? What drivers? What Graphics card? What OS? What computer specs.... come on, you haven't really given us anything to go on at all.

    Muonline,drivers?
    Nvidia Geforce4 MX4000 5.6.6.4(older version)
    Windows XP Pro SP2
    Memory:512MB of RAM
    AMD Athlon(tm) XP3200+
    2.19Ghz
    NVIDIA(R) nForce(TM)Audio

    err you still need anything else..I'm sort of a com geek here =)

    Were the newer drivers you were using the ones from nVidia's site?

    err yes the newer one but no for the older one..older one from guru3d.com
