Sil 3112 PCI SATA - driver exclamation mark
Hi Folks,
I have a Sil 3112 PCI card, I just want to connect a single SATA drive to the card. I previously had the card installed with drive in a HP VL400 system, all worked fine. I have since moved the card to a Dell GX240. On boot the card was picked up and the usual PnP setup appeared the driver was loaded for the card, the system then picked up a second device, PCI device to which a driver could not be found, I tried to install the 3112 driver from the cd but to no avail. If I remove the card, delete the entries in device manager and reinsert and reboot the system again picks up two devices...has anyone come across this before?
Thanks.
