Buying Ram for a weird mobo at work.

Ok, so I have to upgrade the RAM on one of the work computers. This motherboard is a specialty board (MB800V, P4 2.8, 533 FSB, but with 3 ISA slots for some special hardware). Since its a 533 FSB I'm maxed out at PC2100 but there isn't too much of it left around. Anyways I can get PC3200 for cheaper and I am almost positive it should work in the board but I just wanted to check first before I order. So basically, will PC3200 work in a board only designed for PC2100; will I have to set things manually? Thanks.

PC3200 should downclock just fine. I've never had to set things manually when putting PC3200 in a board that used up to PC2700, and I doubt it would be different for a board that only takes PC2100.

    In other words, no worries!
