boot volume
Hi
I can't get my (home) computer up and running at all; it says boot volume error. I do not have hp discs. I read that I can get the discs from techtips; it says it will take 6 floppies. I'm at work so I'm limited it what I can do but I put the floppy in and it tries to put it all on one disc and then tells me the disc is too small (by a hair it looks like). Why won't it put it on multiple discs? How can I tell it to put it on more than one disc? Will this really work if I have to go get discs and wait till tomorrow to try it again from here?
I told the computer to clean up old files AND old programs. I am guessing it cleaned too thoroughly and cleaned off something it now needs?! I really need both the computer and the info so any help would be appreciated.
