      Has anyone tried this?

How does it compare to IE?

      Anyone recommend it?

It is IE, so the comparison is a bit odd.
It's like comparing Notepad.exe to Notepad.exe encapsulated inside another program to augment the functionality.

As for recommending it. No way! It's IE. Why would someone recommend IE and IE-based browers when Gecko-based browsers are available?
