ACM Wrapper not working

Well, my computer randomly froze and crashed, which it's been doing a lot of lately (Generic Host Processes... argh). See, when it crashes, it takes things with it now. Like WZC. It always disables it. And then it takes a few minutes to set the XP skin back on (not just win95 or whatever). And now this.
I get this error when trying to play ANY video file. Far as i can tell, this is part of DX9c, but I tried reinstalling it and it wouldn't let me. Said everything was fine.
Please, if you have any suggestions, post! This is unbelievably frustrating.
Edit: I tried this (and many other files) in 4 different players. No luck.
Deh. It even f*cked my soundcard. Problem solved, though, so thread closed.
