Thinking about buying Nero

I'm thinking of buying Nero. But, I've never used it before :D

I know the lastest Nero is Nero 6 Reloaded but I just been to their site and I saw that Nero 7 premium is coming out and will be in stores second week of October. The site said "Customers who have purchased a full version (not an OEM version) of Nero 6 between September 1, 2005 and November 30, 2005 for the regular price will receive a free upgrade serial number for Nero 7 Premium.*...".

Since I maybe buying Nero within those dates, upgrading to Nero 7 for free seems good but I want to know what you guys think of Nero? Is it worth it or not?

Thanks

It's my preferred burning program - and since I say it's good, it must be. ;)

I got Nero 6 Full version with all kinds of programs free with my Sony DL DVD Burner. If you need a new one, look for that :)

Nero is really pretty much the best for Windows. I also recommend.

The only thing it can't do, is make 1:1 CD images. Otherwise it's top notch; I use it and Alcohol 120%, and don't need anything else for burning.

I love the Nero software and used to stand by it for video editing, in conjunction with Windows Movie Maker...especially for its rich feature set including but not limited to DVD authoring. That was until I ran into Sony Vegas (as far as Movie/DVD authoring is concerned). :D
