Microsoft have announced the official release date for it's next-gen console the Xbox 360 as November 22nd.

... actually, I know I'll already want a PS3 because of the games that'll be on it. So really what I'm doing is saving my money for a PS3, and then seeing if the 360 is worth buying with any money I (may or may not) have left
It'll be interesting to get the hard numbers, though, even if they're mostly meaningless.
I want to see if these suckers are going to be worth it (by that I mean all three systems, but the Revolution is the only one we're 100% getting. Possibly something else if it's really super worth it )

I can't tell if it's going to work amazingly or terribly. I just know I never liked the "separated" controllers. But it's Nintendo, they can pull it off.... right?
