Power problems

edited September 2005 in Hardware
I have a MSI NForce2 K7n2G motherboard and a AMD 3000+ XP processor running Windows XP Pro. Multiple times each day my computer reboots with no notice. I am leaning towards power problems, though I have a Thermoltake Silent Pure Power 480W power supply. It says in the motherboard documentation that I should plug any large processor fan directly into the power supply which I haven't done yet. What are my trouble shooting steps to fugure if this is software or hardware related? Thanks for any help in advance.

No. In fact I am under-clocked. My motherboard only allows a FSB of 166. I have a 3000+ and it has a max FSB of 200. For some reason I can't get it to be stable. Right now I am running at 1750mhz, with some stability problems.

    Thanks for any help.
