Black Screen of Death in all media players
Recently all my media files with any video have begun just giving me a black screen. The audio still plays fine, but the video stays a black screen. I attempted to reinstall my codec packs and even went as far as reinstalling my various media players, but I'm still getting the black screen. The three I mainly use are Windows Media Player 10, DivX, and VCL from VideoLAN. I recently deleted a trojan off my computer called Puper, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with my problem.
