Windows XP on SATA harddisk couln't boot every 2 or 3 months. Help Required.

Hi,

I have one SATA hard disk installed with Windows XP. Every 2 or 3 months time, Windows couldn't boot up , and I couldn't even access Safe Mode or any recovery mode. What I did was format the bootup partition and reinstall the Windows XP. Everytime after the Windows installation, I will check my SATA harddisk for bad sector and there is always none, but as I had said, it was only good for 2 or 3 months when the same problem would repeat again.
Please help. You may e-mail me at singc@yahoo.com. Thank you.

Perhaps you can give us some specifics on your hardware?

And also whether you like to play in BIOS or had any CMOS battery related problems...
