The teenager who reportedly hacked into the mobile phone of socialite Paris Hilton has been sent to jail.
The hacker, who cannot be named because of his age, will serve an 11-month sentence in a juvenile jail.

He will be under supervision for two years following his release, during which time he cannot own a computer or any device that can access the net.

The jail sentence covers a series of crimes committed over a 15-month period.

I saw a security presentation by a guy from the FBI just last week and he was talking (on a very limited basis, just stuff that was actually in the news) about all the crimes this guy commited. 11 months w/ 2 yrs probation is getting off pretty easy for all the stuff he did, the Paris Hilton phone thing was the big one everybody talks about but he broke in LexisNexis and Choice Point and all these huge data companies.. things way worse than stealing numbers off that idiot's sidekick. He got off easy.

i would have settled for the nude pics she had on her phone. plus the numbers to all the stars, woulda been awesome. but thats probably what got him caught was her phone. He shouldnt of bragged about it. thats what gets you caught.
