matlab-3-D visualization

edited September 2005 in Science & Tech
Hello everybody :)
I just wanted to know if someone can help me with programming in Matlab.
I have to make a 3-D visualization of some geometry. What I have are the nodes with its correspondent coordinates, and the scalar value of stress for each node...now the geometry is kind of complicated so I can´t get through :bawling:
If someone has any experiance on that field, it might be some help for me, Thank you, Maraia

the function you need to use is surf, but you'll have to calculate grid center coordinates on your own

We are, however, here to help people who ask for it. Maraia doesn't appear to be asking us to do it for her - she didn't give nearly enough info for that.

You don't have to be a rockit scientist to use it do you?

What kind of files does matlab accept? Does it accept dxf cause I can do that.
I wish I had taken those copies of matlab all these years that were offered but I didn't ...sorry.
