**Websites for dummies** Help Needed
Now first of all, let me say that I am no computer whizz like some of you guys seem to be so go easy on the technical stuff.
I just basically want to know how I would go about building a website. I don't expect you to tell me everything but can anyone suggest some helpful websites to set me in the right direction?
Thanks People

Many more out there on google too, just search. But I'd suggest getting to know HTML thoroughly first, then learn about how to use DIV tags and CSS. That should keep you busy for a little less than a week, a day should be enough for HTML. CSS might take a bit to get used to as it's a bit... "different" in format, but once you get it... it's easy, just takes a while to remember it all.
After that you should start getting the hang of it and where you'd wanna go. Javascripting is nice; PHP is a bit advanced, but there are less advanced things you can do with it that is FUN.
You can learn Flash on the side when you get bored doing the above, in fact I recomend it. With Flash you can create kickass banners, buttons, media players(advanced), animations and such. It's simple to begin in, then you can learn Action script and get more advanced with it and create some amazing things.... even fake 3D.
Speaking of 3D you can try out some shockwave stuff, a demo of "Macromedia Director" should be easy to get, then you can build more advanced games, including 3D Shockwave games. Actually, I love director alot.... you can find some good jobs if you know it well enough. It's a 30 day trial, so make sure you either get a good book on it or find a good website.... last time I tried searching for a site on it with tutorials, it was a pain.
I know I went a bit off on all this, but the beginning of my post should be more than enough to inform you on where to go. HTML is very VERY easy to learn, so don't try too hard CSS is awkward for beginners, but once you get it.... then it's all easily downhill
BTW, DIV tags combined with CSS is far more superior to using Tables.... just FYI when you get to that point.
