Google.com is looking to expand its portfolio by adding its own Wi-Fi network. Lately Google has been purchasing fiber optic lines and bought out wireless start-up Android.
Now, the company says it has begun a limited beta test of a Wi-Fi service near Google's Mountain View, California headquarters. Google spokesman Nate Tyler said the service is part of a "community outreach program." Tyler said the company would collect feedback from users and determine its next steps.
Google, the next Microsoft, but free.

What if you use their network for illegal things? I know you would be to blame, but how much would Google be to blame? I'm thinking along the lines of there maybe being a similarity between the company you work for getting into trouble if you do illegal things on their network, and this Google wi-fi thing.
