Well, sort of. At least it isn't me or my boxes. It seems that one of our DNS servers here at work can't resolve the address for Stanford. When they purge the cache it finds it fine.
So, if the cache is recently purged when my box goes looking for work it connects and goes on its way. If it has been a while then my box will sit for hours, or even days, until the cache is purged and it can connect.
They are 'looking into it'.
At least now I know why I have lost 50 places in the program in the last two weeks and my production is down 35%. These are my two fastest boxes.
