app to always tell me my ip

looking for a program that will run in the background silently that will show my externel ip. Also if my ip changes i would like it to e-mail me a message with the new ip address. Is there a piece of software like that? I tried ip monster but its not registering an ip just says starting

    Do you need to change it for a Dynamic DNS name like no-ip.com? If so, I know that no-ip.com has a program that will change your DNS entry to whatever your IP changes to in the background.

    I can't help you with the email though.. :confused:
