Not a boot up problem, but a real emergency.

I was uploading some photos from my Fuji Finepix A303 of a trip to visit my daughter when I somehow managed to rename half the pics to the same name....while the camera was still connected. I've now lost half the pics :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

Mrs. Crypto is goona weild the axe when she gets home

Anybody know how to get at the raw data on a XD memory card?

Failing that I'll have to emigrate, got a spare bed DragonV8?

Cheers

Crypto :(

I don't think there is much of a way of doing that. I have that camera and it shows up as a removable drive. Try running one of those disk recovery tools on it and you might get lucky... else..

Tell Mrs Crypto that the camera crashed during transfer & eat the photos.. then rant for a while about how technology isn't like it used to be ;)

I cannot tell a lie to Mrs.Crypto, my nose just gets longer and longer. :(

Anyway, panic over, all fixed thanks to badcopy pro

Thanks chaps for the suggestions, I'm sure they would have worked also.

The bonus is that having confessed all to Mrs.Crypto, and coming up with a solution, she now thinks I'm marvellous ;D

    Cheers

This just goes to show that honesty is the best policy. I may even give it a try myself someday. :mullet:

Glad you got your problem solved, Crypto. :)
