0x014e5f6c memory could not be read

Can someone PLEASE help me out, when I close out Internet Explorer I get an error message it says 0x014e5f6c memory could not be read , I am running a Dell 2.4, 1G Ram, 40G hhd, Windows XP Home, can some one please tell me how to correct this issue, thank you very much.

    I agree Pilotwings, this could be a result of bad memory. I'd run Memtest86+ for several hours to see if any errors pop up.

    Also, is that error message consistant? or does it vary, and not always occur at the same time/place?

    OK sorry it took so long to get back, I ran memory test ALL ok, this only happens when I open Internet Exploer and then close it right back out, I mean I close Internet Explorer before it opens completely, thanks for your help.

    in your command prompt type sfc /scannow, make sure theres a space in between them, this is going to scan all protected windows files to make sure none are missing or corrupted. you might have a bad IE file
