tcpsvcs.exe
Hi guys, hope someone can help me with this... for some reason the process tcpsvcs.exe on my server is eating up 98% of the processor time. I know this service is part of windows networking, but I don't get why it's using so much processor time, I'm worried it's somehow been hijacked or something.
Some things I've ruled out:
Server is not a DHCP server
Server is not a print server
Automatic updates is off (no updates downloading in the background)
Server is running XP pro, service pack 2.
I've just realised uPNP is enabled (for a bittorrent program) but my laptop also has uPNP enabled and that doesn't show this kind of activity.
Any ideas?
