    hi i have a powercolor x850 pro pci express vivo card
    i can flash it to any bios i like but somehow i unlocked the 16 pipes then somehow locked back up lol i unlocked em looked in the log and then it said i had 16 pipes then i looked again and it went back to 12 i have tried like 5 of everyones methods and i am still stuck at 12 lol
    i think i need a x850pro bios modded for 16 pipes if there is anyway i can get it i would very very much appreciate it i also heard people saying that you have to reinstall drivers everytime to use ati tool to read the number of active pipes did i need to reinstall the ati tool as well as the drivers?
    and is this switch fomat correct?
    " atiflash -p 0 x850xtpe.bin -f -newbios "
    or is this correct
    " atiflash -p -f -newbios 0 x850xtpe.bin "
    or deos it even matter if anyone has the knowledge to help me i would be beyond greatful

    Some of the x850pros can't be unlocked.

    Thats right. The ones that dont' work are almost always pci-e. If you follow the instructions in the link above (try using the modded flashrom instead of the extra moddifier on the ati one) and the card doesn't work then you may just be out of luck.

    I just got a X850 PRO Vivo AGP,

    How can I backup my current BIOS?
    How can I flash the bios?

    you guys arent listening i had it saying 16 pipes in my log after i flashed it back to somthing else already and ended up not not realizing it till after the fact and yes it is pci express i dont get it lol
