AVI wmv MPEG video clip quality
Hello!
I have some problems with my image quality of AVI wmv MPEG RM video clips,
especially when converting, splitting and joining.
I get like patches on the images that are disturbing; a little like the effect
of oil paintings on the clips.
These are never on the original movie clips.
Do I need special codecs, or what?
I am rather new to using video clips, but, of course want good picture quality.
Does anybody know if there is a cure for this?

PS. My setup is OK, with all applications, DirectX OK, etc.
