How would I move my drive to my computer?


and my computer seems to be slower with this drive.... should I reformat this drive and just make this as my master?

    I just got a new hard drive for my pc and installed it, I formated it as my slave drive


    Master: 40gb

    Slave: 160 (but is 149 for some reason)

    I just want to move my slave drive into my "My Computer" on my desktop



    Also should I use my bigger drive as my master? My comp seems a bit slower

    Your slave is 149 because microsoft counts 1gb as 1024mb, but HDD makers count it as 1000mb lol its sorta like false advertising, but we put up with it ;p

    as for having it show up in my computer, have you formatted it to Fat32/NTFS yet? that would probably be what you're missing.
