Graphics card or video problem.
I have a two part question;
I've been experiencing an issue in Raven Shield 3 where the video is "jumpy", movement is periodically interrupted by a short pause. I don't know what occurred to create the problem but I have tried multiple fixes in my system and in the game. Including; changing refresh rates, rolling back drivers, reinstalling, tweaks and changing resolution. Any thoughts?
Secondly, in order to solve the first problem I installed a "BFG GeForce 6800GT OC - AGP - 256 - GDDR3". My expectation was to fix the video issue with the game and to see a tremendous frame rate increase. Neither has happened. I have installed the latest Nvidia drivers and have determined that I am running a 4X AGP slot. I have not done anything to the BIOS. Any thoughts?
FYI: I also own a laptop with the same card GeForce 6800 card except it's a PCIe slot. The frame rates on my laptop are 180-200. The AGP machine gets 80-90 FPS at best.
