    What can I say? :D

The Alliance smells of cheap sacrament <s>whine</s> wine and crackers... Especially those Paladumbs.

Yeah, Rogues and Druids suck, each for their own reason; Rogues because they're a dime a dozen and impossible to get groups/raids with.. Druids because they're one of the slowest classes to level in the game, though a resto druid with innervate is invaluable for raid encounters such as MC, ZG and BWL.

If I A) Owned the game, and B) Played it, I would consider joining.

I could try to recruit my daughter and her boyfriend. It might be my best chance of ever hearing from them again. Since they started playing they don't have much time left for Real Life. ;)

We've tried SM clans in various games in the past, but they've never worked. I think that a) most of the people on SM have not enough time to really devote to being a serious part of an online clan, b) The people on SM that do have that kind of time already have established groups of friends and assosiates that they play with outside of SM, precluding them from joining an official SM clan, and c) Those who have the time to play, and no prior clan affiliations, are proly that way because their taste in video games is constantly craving new stimulation. Each new thing only lasting several months for the bulk of the group.

For example. We tried to start a Guild in Guild Wars. Most of the SMers who were playing had other guilds to join, made up of friends from other games, like EQ. The few who did join, are still members, but it says "Last logged in 3 months ago" next to their name in the list. So that worked not at all...

Also: for this game in particular: Most SMers are smart enough not to pay an exorbidant monthly fee for an inferior to average gaming experience. :p

As opposed to guild Wars which provides a consistently miserable gaming experience. Good thing it's free. ;) You get what you (Don't) pay for.

    Option B, thanks.

I understood all that Thrax said. My friend used Innervate on the priest in ZG who was healing the tank, Norge. At least until this next patch Druids are pretty much Priests.

I just started a Orc Warrior on Detheroc about 3 weeks ago. It is still a very new server, with not many 60's at all actually. Only like 3 UBRS runs have been ran. If you guys want to start on a low pop server, it is a good one to start on. I am level 42 myself.

I will never roll an alliance toon though, never.

I'd be interested but as CB pointed out a lot of people who dedicate time into playing these type of games already have a group of friends outside of SM. I am currently in a guild on my server that I am unwilling to leave. Not to mention I have no intentions of leaving behind my level 60 warrior.

Keto returns from WOW! I think my WOW experience is winding down now, otherwise I would be interested. Play on Doomhammer, have 3 lvl 60's (Shaman/Priest/Warrior), a 35 hunter and a 48 rogue. Have every 300 tradeskill except leatherworking. Have epic gear , >1000g with nothing to spend it on and about the same value in banked tradeskill items. Have been playing much less the past couple of weeks and not missing it. I guess a year of 6-16 hour days will do that to a guy ;D Oh, and agreed Thrax - I don't have a single alliance character anywhere, did try a couple early on but nothing that reached even 20.

I think the only thing I haven't done is get rank 14. And at Rank 11, I could do it if I cared.

Had no idea you were playing that much, Thrax. What server, and with who?

I took a break to start a new job a couple of months ago, but had been playing with Ravencrest on Deathwing. Sadly, Alliance.

My 'release' character is an undead mage on Gorgonnash, but my girlfriend grew tired of the server and wanted to play a damn night elf. Alas, I am now a prominent Alliance druid. -=(
though a resto druid with innervate is invaluable for raid encounters such as MC, ZG and BWL.
Ha, I couldn't agree more. Sadly, I took my break the week before patch 1.8 changed druids in big ways. I think with the new talents and skill changes, leveling a druid as feral would be a lot quicker than it was back when I made my druid in January.

So I have three 60's now and a rogue on the way, whenever I return. Girlfriend has two 60's and a warrior on the way. Altogether, I would say we just play too much... Or used to over the summer.

I don't really dig the way the honor system turned out. I PvP a lot, but more open-world type stuff, which I find a lot more fun than the battlegrounds. Unfortunately, all the time in the world spent *actually PvPing* won't make anybody rank 14. Or even rank 8. And I had such Grand (sic) aspirations, too. I do enough BG's to max rep and maintain Knight and nothing more. As long as I get my cheapo pots and the odd piece of gear that is actually useful, I'm happy.

Anyway, I'm going to start playing again some time between now and January since I'm settled in to the new job. It would be fun to make an all shaman SM guild or something of that nature.

    In game:

    Xavias - Deathwing
    Azdar - Deathwing
    Saviax - Deathwing
    Volkradith - Gorgonnash

Ghrall - Level 60 Orc Warlock, Stormrage
Sundari - Level 60 Gnome Warrior, Cenarion Circle

Both are tier 1-equipped, and running BWL.

gnomes have the lowest amount of life in the game they die really quick even as warriors ..... and warlocks just suck altogether cause hey are shadow masters """ and the only thing they can do is summon toons for an instance thats the only thing they r uselfull for...

I can't play a game where people call my characters "toons." People never did that when I played SWG or DAoC.

If I was playing Animaniacs Online or something, maybe "toons" would be appropriate.

You realize that a properly-specced Warlock is the second highest DPS class in the game behind Hunters? Apparently not. They're also one of the only raid-saving classes in the game; Divine Intervention is sketchy at best in persistent-aggro encounters like Ragnaros, and the Shaman's Ankh is an alternative you'd like to save for last-resort scenarios.

Secondly, your claim about the Gnome's health is faulty at best, as they (As a Warrior) start with 21 stamina, only 4 stamina (40hp) less than the Dwarf which is the highest at 25 starting stamina. I'm sure 40 hitpoints makes a huge difference. ;D
