Please help with startuppage-du.dll

Anyone who can help it would be greatly appreciated!

For about a week now I have been having big problems. I first went through days of opening up my IE page and it saying, about:blank, and all kinds of popups and mcafee saying trojans left and right along with PUP's. I ran my computer in safe mode and found some hidden cache files and I finally got my IE page to get off about:blank, but now every time I try to open it it says that the file C:/WINDOWS/rnvwv.dll was infected by the startpage-DU.dll trojan, it says it clean and deleted it but it keeps coming back. It automatically closes the page on me and I am going crazy trying to search for it and can't find it anywhere. It seems I am having more and more trojans and PUP's and problems every day now.

I have run the newest Adware SE, and the newest updated Spybot, Mcafee, and PC Mighty Max, and XoftSpy. I am going to paste my log below with Hijacker. Thanks again for your help and support.

Let's see if we can't get you cleaned up. First off, make sure you have set it so you can see hidden files. If you need to know how to do this, check here:

Once you've done that, restart HijackThis and delete/fix these lines:

Hi Geoff,
Thank you so much for your help!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, I tried to open up the Internet Explorer page right after I ran this Hijack log again, and same results. :bawling: The Mcafee box pops up and says that a Trojan has been clean and detected the same message as before. Is there something else I should do?

Ok, I don't see anything in your HijackThis log. I want you to download CWShredder here http://www.short-media.com/download.php?dc=69

Before you run the program you will need to turn off your system restore. You can find it under Start, Control Panel, System, System Restore tab. Click on the "turn off system restore on all drives". Run the CWShredder program and click *fix*. Be sure to close all browers and explorer windows before. Don't worry if you forget, the program won't continue until you do close them.

Reboot and check to see if you still have problems. You may also want to go here http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/ActiveScan.htm and run the free active scan.

Be sure to come back here and post your results.

UPDATE: Crunchie has brought to my attention that the following items are also part of this and need to be removed with HijackThis.

Thanks so much Geoff and Crunchie!!! I did everything you requested except for some reason I kept getting an error on the about buster, so I couldn't finish running it. I reran everything, spybot, adaware, mcafee virus scan, ewido, and CWshredder. Ewido found 8 problems and fixed them, but while it was running Mcafee said that two files were infected and cleaned by the AdClicker-AJ trojan. I went back and ran mighty PC, and it found both the files and fixed them back, or so it said. I then rebooted and reran and here is my log below. I tried internet explorer and it finally worked, WOOHOO, , but is there something else I should do about this AdClicker AJ trojan? Thank you guys again for all your help!

Ok, once again, make sure your system restore is turned off. You can find it under Start, Control Panel, System, System Restore tab. Click on the "turn off system restore on all drives".

Make sure your McAfee is up to date and do a complete scan of your computer.

Once it's done, reboot and run the scan again if it found something the last time. If it doesn't, turn your system restore back on and you should be good to go!!

If not, we'll get rid of it somehow!

I only have one more question, would it be too much for me to post my log on my kids computer, it did something pretty similar, with the IE page not working at all and now it is running extrememly slow?
