Ok, my pump started leaking, I rma'd it, got it back, put everything back together, and decided to reroute some of the tubes, and after taking off the little clickey hose clamp they include with their systems, I havesince been unable to get it back together. I'm wondering if I can use the regular plumbing tyoe hose clamps that just get tighter as you turn the screw?

Yes you can. They can be a little tough on silicone tubing though if you screw it to tight.

That is what I use on my watercooled dually. I just don't trust those dinky plastic clamps that I got from DD when I bought my waterblocks and silicone tubing. Like Mack said, if you go too tight with them, they can mangle silicone tubing a bit though.

    1. make sure that your clamps are small enough, so that they fit well.
    2. wrap a layer of tape (electrical) over they end of the tube (under the clamp) other wise you will tear the tubing.

The ones I got are 5/16 to 7/8 of an inch, and I have 1/2 inch OD tubing, so those should be exactly what I need to do the trick.
I'll remember to wrap the tube in a layer or 2 of electrical tubing to prevent tears.

    thanks guys.

I use industrial strenth zip ties. first, get the tie securly in place where u want it then use some needle-nose to get it ubber tight. Wrks for me, no leaks :)
