Cannot Maximize New IE Windows

edited November 2005 in Science & Tech
Hello

My problem is that I cannot maximize or resize new Internet Explorer windows that are created or opened by a Web site. As a result, I am unable to view some of the content in the new window (for example, the new window does not display scroll bars).

Silly question but have you tried stretching the windows from the sides?

Something to try: Click on a link in a Web Site and close the previous window (the 'window' where you clicked the link). Now, hold down the CTRL key and stretch the open window as much as you want and then close it. When you click on a link, the window should open to the amount you adjusted to. Hope that helps?

    Hello

I cannot resize the window. It doesn't allow me to stretch the sides or the top and bottom of the window. I can only see what is open, and also, there aren't any scroll bars or anything. And I cannot click the maximize button at the top right corner.

    Thats odd.

Try Mozilla FireFox to see if the same thing happens.

Can you take a screenshot of IE?

I have the exact same problem. It happens on perhaps 10-20% of small pop-up type windows. My cursor will expand to the "pull" cursor if I position in on the lowere right corner, BUT it will not pull the corner of the window at all. VERY frustrating.

the code had been set that way, they have set the stretch values to false. but they messed up on thier (for you pilot) window size valuse. or it could actually be your browser.
