Removable drive icons missing
Well i got a hardware problem (not sure whether its hardware or software)
Today when i restarted my computer the CD-ROM Drive & my DVD drive icons were missing in my computer .
Although I see in the BIOS that both rom drive & DVD drive detected but windows XP does not .
I checked Device manager where UNDER the DVD & CD ROM Drives i see an exclamation mark.
Both CD-ROM & DVD were working fine but at that moment i had to uninstall the AVG antivirus & it at the end prompted to restart the computer . So i did restart as recomended but after that the CD-ROM & DVD was missing .
I also try to access the by typing drive letter ( i: ) in the Run dialog box but i get mesage that i: refers to a location that is unavailable .
Please help
