Erratic frame rates.
Hey guys, I've recently purchased an ATi radeon X800XT PE, For the first few weeks it worked fine, I had a constant high frame rate. All until suddenly a few weeks after purchase I seem to get sudden drops every 10 - 20 seconds, making games very unplayable. I had downloaded a program called speedfan, and found that It shows me one fan, with three sensors. However one of them seems to be constantly stuck at 127celsius whereas the others are at 47 - 50 mark. I enter a game such as counter-strike 1.6 and it'll move upto about 65 - 70 celsius and even higher for newer games. I'm not sure if i'm over heating my system or not.
A little about my specs, I have an intel pentium 4 processor, 1500 megabytes of RAM and my CPU fan seems to be giving out 2700RPM. I never had these problems with my older Radeon 9600XT.
