Bluetooth conection to the www

I have a Palm Tungsten E2 and a bluetooth USB connection fob thing, I can get the palm to connect to my laptop but I can not figure out how to configure it to get through my wireless connection on my laptop to get to the internet. In my network connections I have a bluetooh connection and it has an initial IP address but not one from my router or provider.

I see connection sharing on the bluetooth connection but not on my wireless connection. If I enable connection sharing on the bluetooth my palm connects to the laptop but the laptop loses its connection with my network and the outside world.
