Windows has been activated too many times?

Appearently I have activated my Windows XP Pro copy too many times. It wants a new key.

    yea call them, ive had to do that plenty of times. When they ask how many computers you've installed that copy of windows on, just say this is the only computer, i just formatted the hd. ;D

    they don't even ask very often. usually you can just say "I need the access code" and they're like ok here you go

    Same here. The first time it happened to me I was all ready for a battle, then they just gave me a code with no fuss.
