Trojan-spy.HTML.snitfraud.c - pc locked up - PLEASE HELP

please help. My other pc is infected with trojan-spy.html.snitfraud.c, and it has completely locked up the pc. I get the warning in both safe mode and regular mode, and am not able to run anything in windows. I dont want to format if i dont have to as i have important files on that pc, so i'd like to be able to fix this without a format. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if you mean have i backed up the system, no unfortunately i hadn't.
