You can browse to your Outlook Express <i>store folder</i> and delete your messages manually.

    It can be found here:

    C:\Documents and Settings\$username$\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

You may need to close OE to do this. This may help. Are you logged into windows with restricted privileges?

    thanks.
I login as admin. I created another folder, and use "move to fold" to move the messages around, then I delete that temp folder. this is the way that i am using. but still wondering where is the problem.

it seems that you have problems with your delete.dbx file, probably it is corrupted. Try deleting that file from your OE identity (with OE closed, ofcourse), then restart OE and it should automaticaly create a new empty delete.dbx file.

try deleting some mails to see if that works. It worked for me at least :)

Thank you qsadzx, your suggestion of deleting the file worked great for me. My deleted file had over 2G of messages and I was unable to delete any more of my emails form OE. :)
