I have an old tell and am struggling to get the drivers loaded. Its running ME (i know its not my choice) but i just wiped it and did a frsh reinstall but i cant get 3 drivers loaded. Is there a program that will search for drivers and find them? I tried windows updates and driverguide toolkt and no luck.

    Did you mean "Dell"?

What brand, model, is the MB, etc?

From what I've found, that computer is equipped with either a Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live! 512V or a Voyetra Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. Which do you have, and is it onboard (MB-based)?

Have you updated the chipset drivers and all the basic things like that first? Onboard devices sometimes depend on other MB components to some extent.

I'd imagine you've already checked this, but is all the applicable onboard stuff enabled in the BIOS? :)

What else is marked on the sound card? Have you tried a non-Dell Creative driver?

You might want to try a different PCI slot, too.
