www.syserrors.com, bloodhound.w32.ep HELP!

Oh, boy.. I don't know what happened. i got these viruses, and whenever i run my computer, i get a norton anti-virus virus alert on C:\Windows\system32\wininet.dll for Bloodhound.w32.EP, uhh.. and when i leave my computer on i get popups of various sorts. my homepage is changed to www.syserrors.com, and i can't go to any website other than that www.syserrors.com, and spyware removal programs worldantispy and spytrooper keep installing by itself. This is very frustrating, PLEASE help me, i'll be sooo happy.

Download, then unzip to "C:\HJT", the newest version of HiJackThis; version 1.99.1. Then repost your log, either now, or after following the steps in the solution (if provided in this post). This version has features that might be more helpful in 'cleaning' up your system.

Let's look for, and delete, any program segments (prefetches) that might be present, and are associated with the 'problems' we're trying to remove from your PC. To do this, let's:

1) Click "Start | Search", then search for each of these program's base name(s), in all files and folders:

mssearchnet.exe*

2) Then if any are found in the 'prefetch' folder, delete them.

Look closely, since the 'base' name will have a bunch of random numbers and letters attached to it.

Run HiJackThis then:

1. Click "Open the Misc Tools Section"
2. Click "Open Process manager"

Next, while holding down the CTRL key, locate (if present) and click on (highlight) each of the following:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\mssearchnet.exe

Now double-check and make sure that only those item(s) above are highlighted, then click "Kill process". Now, click "Refresh", check again, and repeat this step if any remain.

Now, close all instances of Internet Explorer and any other windows you have open except HiJackThis, click "Fix checked".

Note that some of these file(s)/folder(s) may or may not be present. If present, and cannot be deleted because they're 'in use', try deleting them in "Safe Mode".

To help protect your system from hostile ActiveX content, or special 'downloadable' files:

Download, install and keep updated, SpywareBlaster. If you've installed it for the first time:

1) Check for any available updates; if present, they'll be automatically downloaded and installed.
2) Next, "Enable all protection".
3) Exit the program.

Note: Remember to regularly check for updates.

After rebooting, rescan with hijackthis and post back a new log. Please let me know how your pc is now.

C:\PROGRA~1\VIRTUA~1\reminder.exe, that is just C:\program files\virtual rosary\reminder.exe

okay the second step, when i searched, i found one of those in the prefetch folder and deleted it.

the third step is where i have the problems, i opened misc. tool manager, and opened process manager, and when i "kill process" mssearch.exe, the norton anti virus shows that bloodhound.w32.ep in wininet.dll is active again. then i refresh, and mssearch.exe is there again.. clueless, should i go on to next step or should i wait here?

well, thank you very much for the help, my friend came over and fixed it for me, but i VERY much appreciate your help, as you have helped me a couple times before. I had a quick question though..
i don't run on SP2, and i know it's safer from viruses, but i remember on my other computer with the first version of SP2, it does not let you open ports. So hosting games on Warcraft III, and other programs that require open ports for full performance did not work. Has this SP2 problem been fixed?
