Ibm00001.exe Pc is in bad shape because of it

I read the prvious post of jumar1987, and unfortunately i have run into a similar problem as him/her and i was inpressed by the way u coached jumar to solving his problem, and i took a few pointer from what u had told jumar, and my pc was working fine for the most part but it still isnt running the way it should, so if you have the time and energy your help would be greatly appreciated i have copy of my hjt file below, hopefully u can see something wrong with the info provided...

p.s. this post goes for anyone that can help me....

    Run the PurityScan uninstaller.

    ===============

    Before we begin, let's move HiJackThis to it's own folder; like c:\HJT. When we're done 'cleaning' off your system, we're going to 'flush' the temporary folders which, with HiJackThis in it's current location, we'll lose both the program and the backups it creates. These backups are important in case we need to restore any 'fixed' entry(s) later.

    Also move the "Backups" folder, for HiJackThis, if present.

    ===============

    Now, let's open a command prompt by going to the start menu and then select 'Run'.

    In the box that pops up type in 'cmd'. The command prompt will open.

    OR

    You can go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt. Unregister the dll(s) we're going to remove, by entering the following:

    regsvr32 /u sxpdr32.dll

    ok I followed the instruction you gave me, note: i couldnt use regular windows
    to perform the task, i was and am currently using safe mode with networking to perform everything. but after i rebooted and tried to use windows normally, it booted up but when i tried to get into firefox it stayed idle so i had to manual reset, then when windows tried to boot up after the reset it stayed idle saying windows is starting up. so i reseted again downloaded the spyblaster in safe mode with networking and now im posting the hjt log. i will try to boot up windows normallly again and tell you what happens.. thank you for the help so far...
    another question i have is that have numerous spyware, spybots, adware and virus protection on this pc

    1) nortons 2005
    2) spy bot search and destroy
    3)spy blaster
    4)registry mechanic
    5)AD-aware se personal
    6) ewido security suite
    7) Xoftspy
    8)etrust pest conrol
    9) Panda antivirus protection and spybot
    10) spyspotter 3

    I didnt download all these forms of protection and i also know they are all not necessary in conjunction with eachother so i would like to know which ones should remain which i should rid my pc of

    One AV should be sufficient, as well as a firewall. Adaware, Ewido, Spywareblaster and Spybot should be enough. Registry Mechanic is solely to clean up the registry.

    ok after checking and fix the files listed ubove in hjt i looked for the other files you asked me to delete in c:windows but those files werent present, i then proceeded to reboot and attempt to load windows, on the first try it was idle on the windows start up screen, i had to manual reset, then i tried to load windows again, i was able to put my password in and log on, but then my pc was forzen but the mouse cursor was able to move. so now i came back into safe mode to tell you the status of the pc.

    How long is it since you have been able to boot into normal mode? It may be better at this point to do a system restore back to before this started happening.

    after troubleshooting with my pc a bit more, and talkin to a friend on im service i deleted a few toolbars in my control panel, aswell as some unnecessary program, about 12 of them, and then i was able to boot up in normal mode, i then proceeded to uninstall panda antivirus, aswell as nortons, and then i downloaded avg... i ran scan with avg deleted all the virus found, i ran two scans with adaware and spybot search and destroy, deleted whatever they found, and for the past 15 hrs i systems seems to be working fine..
    there is one program that i cant get rid of, its callled 'uninstall deluxe wallpaper changer' when i click remove, it flashed the cmd prompt for one sec, and then disapears, then im back at the add/remove program screen.. the actual program is in my c:/program files/dwc i was wondering if i should just delete the folder.

    Regarding 'uninstall deluxe wallpaper changer' delete the folder from program files, then click Start > Run > Type or copy & paste regedit. The registry editor will open.
    Then go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall and delete the offending entry in the right hand pane.

    Hijackthis has problems with some 023 entries and lists them as missing. When I see any bad entries there with the 'missing' after them I assume the file is present and ask for it to be deleted.

    Go to;

    Start>>Run and type regedit
    Press enter.
    Navigate to:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\BusinessC (BusinessContinuity)

    If BusinessC (BusinessContinuity) exists , right click on it and choose delete from the menu.

    Now navigate to:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\Root\LEGACY_BusinessC (BusinessContinuity)

    If LEGACY_BusinessC (BusinessContinuity) exists then right click on it and choose delete from the menu.

    ==

    Reboot and check that it is gone.

    Now that your PC is clean you need to follow these easy steps to keeping it this way:

    Secure your Internet Explorer by going here and following the instructions there.

    Better yet, use an alternative browser! Download FireFox and give it a run. It is far more secure than Internet Explorer. Or, you can get Opera which in my opinion, is better still.

    Use a firewall to help prevent your PC's control being usurped by undesireables. There is a link to a good, free firewall in my signature.

    Install and keep updated, Ad-Aware SE, and Spybot S&D.
    Run them both on a regular basis, following the manufacturer's recommendations.

    Install an anti-virus. There are some good, free AV's available today. Make sure that it is updated regularly and have it scan your system often.

    Check for Windows Updates. Microsoft regularly post updates for your systems safe running. Make sure to take advantage of this. Reboot when installed and return to make sure there are no others.


    Clear your Temp folders.
    Clear out your Temporary internet files and other temp files.
    Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel >Internet Options.
    Under the General tab click the Delete temporary internet files,
    delete all Offline content as well. Clear out Cookies.

    Also, go to Start > Find/search > Files or folders > in the named box, type: *.tmp and choose Edit > select all -> File > delete.

    Empty/delete the entire contents of the C:\Windows\temp folder and C:\temp folder, if you have one. (Contents but not the folder itself.)

    C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\

    In order to view these files you may have to select 'show hidden files/folders.' Instructions on how to here.

    Empty the Recycle Bin.

    For XP users.
    After something like this it is a good idea to Flush the Restore Points and start fresh.
    To flush the XP system Restore Points.

    Go to Start>Run and type msconfig. Press enter.

    When msconfig opens, click the Launch System Restore Button.
    On the next page, click the System Restore Settings link on the left.

    Check the box labelled 'Turn off System restore'.

    Reboot. Go back in and Turn System Restore Back on. A new Restore Point will be created.

    Note that all previous restore points will be lost.
