Dell's 'best days behind it'

Financial analysis paper Barron's has postulated that Dell may have passed its prime.
Following the news that the company on November 1 had lowered its third-quarter revenue forecast, the paper noted "Dell's revenue growth has now slowed for seven quarters in a row."

    Maybe offer AMD CPU IN their PC's would grab back some market share.... HP/ Compaq have been my choice for personal laptops and desktops... Cheaper and AMD!!!!

    Sadly that will fall on deaf ears. There is no business need for DELL to use AMD. This topic has been done to death as to the hows. whys & maybes :(

    Im sure DELLs glory days are "over" but they will still turn the kind of profit most OEMs would love to have ;)

    but yeh..dell wont be turning over the huge prodits that they are used too.

    but they will most likely till continue to be profitable as many businesses use their workstations as well as there servers.

    hm, i think its because the pos imac g3 that i was on was a pos. but it did have ie, version 5 i think.
