Running a timed batch file

Hello there,

I want to send a message to my step dad on my network, but I want it to happen while I'm at school. I'm just going to use the basic DOS command
"net send * blah blah blah." But if I do this it will happen instantaneously, I want it to happen after about 3 hours.

Any way I can do this?

Thanks

Create the batch file, then set it to run with the task scheduler.

Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled Tasks.

You need to set the send file as a process! or as a task! :) If you set up a task to run your batch file it should be sent whenever you set it to send. let me see if I can find some setup details to help you out. *edit: looks like he was posting as I was typing :)

I use to do stuff like that to the "Non-computer guys" in my drafting Dept! lol a screen would pop up and say there Hard drive is now getting deleted and if you hit any button you will loose all data...than below it said click here to cancel....oh man it was so funny, cause they would come over and say hey Mat come quick check this out what do I do. and I would just say oh do this & I would click on the cancel and it would cause a black screen to come up and say Hard drive is now erased......ROFL..man that was the funniest crap. they would almost be crying..... :D

Since your question has already been answered, I'll provide the useless commentary:

Let me guess, the message you want to send is: "Stop looking at PRON!"

Oh that reminds me of more fun we had. Most guys would leave there wallet on there desks or somewhere were if you knew them you could find it. so we would take the CC info and get there home address and set a File to pop op on sites that had certain letters in them and say

    Welcome: Persons Name
We have just taken $250 from this account
    CC# & exp. date
We will be sending you a receipt to this address
    Their address!

thank you for your business as you have just been screwed out of $250 Bucks
