If you wondering what budget PCI-E card will yield you more potential you might want to read this. As Nvidia's tried and true 6600 just wipes the floor with the X1300 in every Game they tested...

    You seriously expected a value card to own the mid range of last generation.

    try the 6800GS which sells for right at 200 bucks now. I guess its walking all over the x1600 cards.

    No I didn't, I guess they didn't have a X1600 to put it up against! I guess the x1300 was the only bandit around...

    I think a better comparison would be the x1300 series vs. the 6200 series, as they are both value cards. 6600's are midrange cards, and should be compared to the x1600's IMO..

    I know the generations are different, but value vs. midrange is hardly apples to apples
