My friend is fixing an older computer with a 1.8GHz P4 with some RAMBUS memory. I guess it has 2x 64mb sticks and 2 of the terminator or w/e sticks in 4 different slots. He said it was the 2 64 meg sticks and then the other sticks in order going away from the CPU. He was wanting to know if he can get a 256mb stick and use one of other terminating sticks since I know you have to install 2 sticks at once. I dont know if you can use any terminating stick with any stick of memory or if there are specific stick for each size of RAMBUS.

AKAIK, all terminator sticks are the same, mmonnin. But I think he had to have 2 sticks of rambus for each channel. You might see what Armo wants for 4 of those 128 MB sticks and chuck the 2-64 MB sticks.
