foxconn sound card

Hi i have opened my computer up and found my on board sound card which is a foxconn on a Asus A7S8x-MX motherboard. I have lost sound and tryed system restore and roll back and it has not worked, plusi have wiped everything and reinstalled windows xp. Plz is there anyone out there able to help. Thanx

    Would you happen to have the name of the soundcard? or at least the fcc id on the card? we can trace it with that. Then find you a suitable driver.

    it just says foxconn on it and it is on a asus A7S8x-mx motherboard that is all the infomation i have is it poss to find it from there?

    Have you tried downloading the drivers from the Asus website?
